ABOUT FRAU HANNAH

My name is Hannah and I am a bilingual English-German university graduate with an Honours Bachelors degree in German, as well as a minor in Second Language Teaching and a ACE - TESOL certificate. All that means that I'm qualified to teach English and German as a second language.

I love to teach. I found my passion for teaching when I was working as a Teaching Assistant for a beginner level German class during the early years of my Bachelors. Since then, I've taught both German and English in Canada and abroad. My goal is to become a university professor.

 

I also love to travel. I'm Canadian, but I've lived in America and Europe. I currently live in Canada, but am moving to Germany in the new year (2026). It's through my early travels that I found my passion for languages and linguistics.

I am currently focused on completing my Masters degree and building my online presence as Frau Hannah. I spend my time blog write about my experiences teaching English as a second and first language, my travel experiences around the globe, and my journey through graduate studies.​​​​
